Kanunu,you still worry like that!Am o.k but it's true I've been sick ish-malaria,bacterial infection and now I have a cold.But I've been going to work.In fact,I just got back from Kabale late yesterday.Had gone to attend Claire's kuhingira (do you remember her,light skinned?).The dust and cold didn't help matters!Updates? How is work going?Hope all's well.

ReplyDeleteWork is ok- good and busy this week- was a bit quiet last week so i'd spend hours reading things on the internet. Which reminds me- i'm reading 'Infidel' by Ayaan Hirsi Ali; very interesting book- read it if you can. And also read 'Half of a Yellow Sun' by someone-Chimamande. Those books have really changed my views about Somalis and Nigerians (resp'vly); they are very telling.
Yes i remember Claire- Hope the function was nice. Never-ending functions.
Nothing else new; except i've had one old man and one strange man on a bike chatting me up on the streets when i was walking home; i think i look like easy prey:-O. Not caught sight of any dashing O'Haras yet:-)Maybe i'm not paying attention. People here smoke too much by the way; from what i see on the streets and the ones i've met- i think about four out of five people smoke:-/
Its raining very hard again..the weather here is amazing- in two hours you can have sun, rain, blizzardy winds and super humidity!
