Sugarberries, thank you for your email. So sorry to take forever to reply; work is manic and weekends fly by with so many various activities...my last post was via a comment on one of the postings (not very clever) so i guess you haven't read that yet. Still haven't gotten a moment to email Lamon and Mukyala Lamon to explain the blogging biz (maybe you should do the honours!) Texts to you still refuse to go through; although i not been clever enough to try your warid no..still have it?
Otherwise i'm ok- been here just over two months already, would you believe-time flies!
Yes i heard of that lad Timothy's death- heard from my aunt who is your mum's friend actually, he was my relative apparently. I didn't know him though- but my aunt says he was so so so nice, like his parents (and his dad died about 5 years ago). First Mugabe, then now this boy; life is fragile.
Almost time for me to go home, feel very tired today, and can't wait to go home and sleep! Spent entire weekend unbraiding, and the hair seems to have trebled in thickness-arms and neck are sore still! But its good to have the braids out- i really want to get dreadlocks, but i'm still skeptical about whether they'll come out the way i want them to look. We'll see; might come home with a maroon-tinted mohawk:-)
Kale, have a good rest of the week, and hopefully a text to Warid comes through to you today.

Eh kale I've been checking my mail to see if you've replied. Good to know you are well. It's been a crazy week for me too. Was supposed to meet Carol for tea but couldn't. I think the last time we had tea was when you were here! Her dad's not well by the way so keep him in your prayers.
ReplyDeleteStill have my warid line but haven't received any texts. I wonder if other people read your blog. They must be thinking these two should just e-mail each other!
Got to go now.can't wait for the weekend to have some rest.Been tired all week.take care my dear.
Kanunu, how are you?
ReplyDeleteSaw some members of your family on Sunday at church.Your cousin (Kadudu I think?)was being confirmed.
My brother, Edgar was being confirmed as well.In case you were wondering,it was an adult confirmation service! I thought he had left it late until I saw some three old women who must be mums. And they were dressed in white!am sure you know about that tradition!
Your baby sister looks sweet.Unfortunately, I've no baby brothers.sigh...
